Back-ups

Back-ups of all data are made and secured at a physically separate location at least once a day. They are then maintained long enough to be reconstructed at any time in case of loss of data.

Encryption

In Billomat all sensitive areas (log-in, tariff-change, etc) are protected by a strong SSL encryption. All charged-for tariffs provide a comprehensively encrypted connection. This means that interception of communications is impossible.

Monitoring

All our systems and important services are monitored with a range of tools 24/7. Technicians are on hand all round the clock in order to be able to respond directly to unforeseen events.

Data centre

Our servers are located in a German data centre with multiply redundant internet connections to major exchanges in 3 countries, independent interruption-free power supply with diesel power units and multiple cable feed, access controls with total-area video surveillance, fire early detection systems, and much more besides.

Data security

All our systems lie behind secure firewalls and are protected from unauthorised access. Hash and salt passwords are saved in encrypted form. Appropriate measures hinder dictionary and brute force attacks.

Trust

At no time are personal data made available to unauthorised third parties. Only selected Billomat employees have very limited access to our customers' information for the purpose of support. And strict password security applies across the board.
