For the use of the Shopify add-on for Billomat you need:
First go to https://apps.shopify.com/billomat and select “add app”. Choose the plan that suits you best.
Open a new tab or browser window to log into Billomat. Activate the API-access in the software by navigating to Settings > Administration > User. Choose your user and then click on “edit”. Check the checkbox “Activate API access?” and copy the API key that is generated. Please do not forget to click on “save”, so that the newly generated API-key is going to be saved and activated successfully.
Then navigate to your Shopify app and enter your BillomatID and the API key you have copied before. Now, you can adapt the interface according to your needs. Activate the interface by clicking on the green “update” button.
