All Billomat data are located on a high-security server within Germany that complies with the latest safety standards. All data are coded with the current SSL-256bit encryption.


TÜV Service Tested

TÜV Service Tested

In April 2018, Billomat was awarded the TÜV service seal with the grade 1,7 (very good) by the independent auditor TÜV Saarland. The attribution of the award is based on a representative poll among a random customer group. For the certification, aspects such as the total satisfaction and the evaluation of the services were essential, among other things.

SOFTWARE MADE IN GERMANY is an initiative of the Bundesverband ITMittelstand (BITMi e.V.). The seal of quality is only granted to companies based in Germany that provide their services in German and that design their software exclusively in Germany.

The seal SOFTWARE HOSTED IN GERMANY is for software designers who offer useful solutions via Internet. With this certification, Billomat has been honored as a particularly safe software, usable via Internet. All data are hosted in a computer center in Germany. The hosting contract is subject exclusively to German law, in particular the German data protection law, the BGB (German Civil Code) and the HGB (German Commercial Code).

Cloud Service Made In Germany

Billomat participates in the initiative Cloud Services Made in Germany. The certification is awarded only to companies that were founded in Germany and whose place of jurisdiction for all contractual and legal matters is located in Germany. The Billomat head office is in Nuremberg with another branch in Dresden.

Billomat hosts its server in Germany and complies with the ISO-27001 certification of an information safety management system as well as with the ISO-27018 certification for compliant and secure Cloud solutions in Germany.

GoBD

The GoBD (German: "Grundsätze zur ordnungsmäßigen Führung und Aufbewahrung von Büchern, Aufzeichnungen und Unterlagen in elektronischer Form sowie zum Datenzugriff") determine the requirements for the bookkeeping and the storing of electronic data and documents. By complying with its policy, it is ensured that the bookkeeping is complete, error-free, entirely comprehensible and verifiable.

The GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU, has been developed to strengthen and standardize the data protection for individuals in the EU. As a company, Billomat attempts to comply with the GDPR.

Behind the abbreviation PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Security Standard) stands a safety standard for credit card information that is mandatory for any institution that processes cardholder data. With the PCI certification, Billomat guarantees the compliance with the PCI data safety standards which protect end users and online merchants from malicious attacks, card fraud and theft.
