How can I export my contacts from Billomat?

How does the export of customer contacts work?

Contacts are among the most valuable information that a company can collect over time. Just like there is a reason why vitamin B is considered to be the king of vitamins. So, why not create a safety backup of your Billomat contacts?

You can easily do it under “Reports/Exports” in the sidebar. Under the menu point “Exports“, you will find all the documents and master data, among which the customers. With one simple click, you can select the desired export format. In general, these might be the formats vCard and CSV.

vCard

vCard is the usual format for Outlook, for example. vCards can be embedded in HTML pages, sent as file attachments in emails or they simply exist as QR code. Mobile phones and PDAs also use vCards to save contact information and in order to exchange it via IrDA and Bluetooth.

CSV

CSV, on the other hand, is the right format for Excel fans. The import to Excel is really easy,  just like the saving and the editing in Excel.

XML and JSON

XML and JSON are text formats which are suitable for the exchange between two computer systems. This might be right for you, if you’re not scared of programming!

The export of customers and contacts

In addition, you can export all your invoices, estimates and further docments under “Reports/Exports“, do the mentioned complete safety backup, export your tax-related master data and transaction data in the Datev format and Agenda format and create a SEPA file for all pending invoices that are to be settled via direct debit. You can submit these to the bank, so that your direct debits are carried out fast and easily!
